In other news, here are 5 TIPS to improve your sleep from the BodyEvolve Team:

Michelle: Magnesium oil, a magnesium supplement or Epsom salt baths can help ease your body into a relaxing and restful sleep. Many people are deficient in this mineral, especially as soils in which food is grown are becoming depleted of magnesium. So add this to your night-time routine and it can even reduce cramps.

Lauren: What you eat and drink in the evening can have a big impact on your sleep. Avoid caffeine and heavy meals late in the day, as they can keep you awake and disrupt your rest. Alcohol may seem to help you fall asleep, but it can interfere with the quality and cause disruptions throughout the night. If you’re feeling hungry before bed, go for a light snack like a banana or a handful of nuts. Avoid anything too heavy or sugary, this will help reduce discomfort and make it easier to fall asleep.

Debora: Add more exercise to your routine. Regular, moderate physical activity, such as walking or swimming, can help relieve stress. Just don’t do a hard workout right before bedtime.

Natalie: Drink your morning brew outside. Exposure to sunlight at this time of day will set your body clock or circadian rhythm. Research has shown it to ensure better quality sleep and also found that those who received more morning light had lower body mass indexes. Aim for around 20 minutes and it doesn’t matter if it’s cloudy!

Megan: Reduce your screen time before bed. Give your mind the chance to unwind by limiting screen use at least one hour before sleep. Try calming activities like reading a book or doing a wordsearch. These simple habits can help you relax, improve sleep quality and wake up feeling more refreshed.
